During this time owner Peter Santenello and his team have regularly attend detailing training programs around the country to bring forth the best service available. VIP stays on the cutting edge of the industry by delivering the highest quality product, and equipment for your vehicle.

About the Owner, Peter Santenello. 
Born in Vermont, Peter moved to the west, seeking sun and adventure. After college in Colorado, he followed his passions of competitive snowboarding and cycling and settled in Lake Tahoe, CA. Peter started VIP Mobile Detailing with a small clientele during his first summer in Lake Tahoe. VIP is now based in Reno servicing Truckee Meadows and the North Lake Tahoe area.
During a two-year hiatus from VIP, 2002-2004, Peter embarked on a transcontinental trip around the globe traveling to over 50 counties, a lifelong dream. During this time he spent a winter in Verbier, Switzerland, traveled through Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Central Asia, and South East Asia. Eventually Peter settled in Bangkok, Thailand and taught English in Thai high schools.
Peter now resides in Reno, NV. He is working on a global travel video project and writing a book about his travels.
Lead Detailer, Luis Melgar.
Luis, originally from Guatemala, has lived in Reno for seven years. He is an avid soccer player and professional bachata dancer. Many say that his Latin dance style is the smoothest in the greater Reno area.
Luis is the only employee that has truly harnessed the art of detailing. His hard work coupled with skill, and perfection, has turned classic and exotic paint jobs into liquid mirrors. Scratch removal with a high-speed buffer is a craft most employees never refine. Luis is different, and has reached a high level of skill, producing the finest results in a modest but proud way. Luis’ professionalism is unmatched; he is a pleasure to work with, and a down to earth great guy.
